Recall Practice are questions that offer additional practice for facts and definitions that you need for the exam! These quizzes focus on the accuracy and wording of your answers and are reviewed by subject experts. You will find recall practice questions throughout the course and you will be prompted to return to these questions once you are likely to need a refresher 📃 ✨

This article relates to the Recall Practice found in the Economics, Physics and Psychology courses 🙌

For Biology students, please go to our specific article What is Biology's ‘Recall Practice’?

Why complete Recall Practice?

Some exam questions are all about nailing the exact words and terminology in the mark scheme. Precision is key: a single missed word or misplaced concept can mean lost marks. That's where Recall Practice helps, offering a clear view of the keywords and definitions needed for the exam and an opportunity to practice and memorise them 🧠

You'll also need to attempt all the recall practice questions in a topic at least once to complete it, but you can re-do them as many times as you like 🔁

Where can I find Recall Practice?

To find recall practice, just open up any topic and the Recall practice feature can be found above the video lessons, next to the up score summary.

All responses to recall practice questions are reviewed and marked by real humans and so can take 24-48 hours to be marked 👽

The button will be greyed out if there are no more to do, or you have questions awaiting marking.

When should I complete Recall Practice?

We recommend that you complete the recall practice quizzes after you’ve completed the rest of the videos and quizzes in that topic (or at least once you feel confident in your knowledge of the topic). Since these quizzes focus specifically on terminology and wording, its best to tackle them after you've understood the general ideas.

Come back to these sections regularly to really solidify your memory of these key terms and make them easy to remember in the exam. Having these key terms memorised means you'll grab all the available marks by writing exactly what the examiners are looking for 💪
