How do I identify students who need help getting started with Up Learn?

Identify students who need support on the Inactive accounts tabđŸ€

Written by Hannah

The Inactive accounts tab on the Reports page helps you identify students who haven't yet mastered a section this year, so you can follow up with them and help them get started on Up Learn. We know that once students get started, they're much more likely to continue - mastering their first section is the best way to track this.

The report also highlights known login issues, making it easier to identify students who may be unable to access Up Learn and take action to unblock them.

How do I identify students who need support?

Go to Reports and select Inactive accounts.

The report shows:

đŸ‘€ Name — the student who may need support

📚 Subject — the subject they're studying on Up Learn

đŸ« Class — their class

📈 Mastered one section this year — whether the student has mastered at least one section during the current academic year

🔐 Login issue — any known issue that may be preventing the student from accessing Up Learn

Students who haven’t yet mastered a section may simply need a reminder or encouragement to start using Up Learn. Follow up with these students to find out what’s stopping them and encourage them to get started.

💡 Tip: Use this report as a to-do list to identify students who may need a nudge to get started, or who may need help accessing their account.

How do I resolve login issues?

Some students may not be using Up Learn because they're unable to log in.

The Login issue column highlights known issues that could be preventing a student from accessing their account. These can include:

📧 A personal email address being linked to their account

⚠ An incorrect or bouncing email address

đŸš« A blank email address, meaning the student doesn't have access

If a student has a login issue, check their details and make sure the correct school email address is associated with their account in your Management Information System (e.g. Bromcom, Arbor).

If you need any support with resolving these issues, contact our Support team at [email protected] or through the live chat function on the website 📹
