Keeping track of assignments gives you a clear picture of how your students are progressing 📊

You can see who has completed their work, how well they’ve understood the material, and where extra support might be needed. Use your Assignments page and Classes page to manage learning across your classes.

How do I track student progress?

From your Class page (under Departments), you can:

👀 See at a glance which students have achieved green on their assignments

📅 Track past, current, and upcoming assignments

🏷️ Sort assignments by class or due date

If you’d like to track assignments across all your classes in one place, head to the Assignments page.

You’ll also receive an email report once an assignment deadline has passed, neatly summarising your class’s progress ✉️

How does a student master an assignment?

A student masters an assignment when they reach a green ring. This means they correctly answered 80%+ of questions in the section at least once. If they don’t reach green on their first attempt, they should use Strengthen to practise until they do 💪

⚠️ If any students miss their deadline, a red banner will appear on your Assignments page: “Your students have incomplete assignments due in the last 28 days.” Click the banner for a quick view of which students are behind.

How do I track my class’s understanding?

On your Class page, use the Snapshot to quickly identify whether your class has achieved mastery on their assignment - you’re looking for a full green bar. To see which students haven’t mastered it, look out for yellow and red rings 👀

On your Assignments page, students are further grouped into:

🟢 Those who achieved green

⚪ Those who never achieved green

For more information, select Insights to see which questions your whole class found most difficult as a whole.

How do I track a student’s understanding?

Click on a student’s ring on the Class or Assignments page to view their score (the percentage of questions answered correctly). This shows how much of the content they’ve understood ✨

For deeper insights, click a student’s name to see their Mistakes overview, which highlights the questions they struggled with.

Note: Students’ scores decrease over time to mimic memory decay (the forgetting curve). Encourage them to complete regular Refresh Knowledge sessions to keep scores up 💡

How do I track activity completion?

You can check whether students have completed all activities in a section by looking at the state of their rings:

Dotted ring: Not all activities have been completed

🟢 Full ring: All activities have been completed

For more detail, click on a student’s name to see exactly which activities they have - or haven’t - completed. This makes it easy to guide them on what to revisit ✅

Note: Students can still reach a green ring without completing all activities if they answer enough questions correctly 💡
