We are so confident in the high quality of our courses, that if you complete it but don't achieve an A*/A, we'll give you your money back (full courses only - exam packs not included).

How do the money-back guarantee terms vary by subject?

Click on your course below to find out!

Economics - Edexcel A, AQA

Maths - Edexcel, AQA, OCR A, Cambridge International

Physics - OCR A, AQA

Chemistry - AQA, OCR A

Biology - AQA, OCR A

What does 'complete' mean?

In order to complete the course, you must achieve an Up Score of 90% by the day of your exam. Up Score measures your knowledge of the subject, your ability to recall information and your overall mastery of the course.

To increase your Up Score past 60%, you must attempt a number of Practice Exam Papers.

You need to complete the paper, use the self marking system and ensure the paper has been saved by clicking the final submit button.

You can refer to our terms and conditions on the money-back guarantee here.

How does XP factor in?

XP (or experience points) record the amount of productive time you spend on the platform. This is a measure for you to be able to plan your time on Up Learn but isn't linked to your Up Score as the time to complete can vary from student to student and isn't necessarily an indicator of how well you're mastering the course.

How do I claim my money back?

Please notify us by email or via our chat channel within 14 days of receiving the results, stating the intention to claim a refund and providing evidence in one of two forms

  • Photograph or copy of certificate provided by the Examination Body

  • Photograph or copy of grades print out provided by the Examination Body

Please note: You must be sitting the exam with the same exam board as your Up Learn course.
