The Class page is your one-stop-shop for a comprehensive view of your students' performance in a specific class, so you can track their progress in one place. It’s a great way to monitor scores over time and stay on top of where each student is in their learning journey as well as where the class at large is struggling! 💡

How do I monitor my class’s progress?

Your Departments page will give you an overview of your classes’ progress across the course. Use each Class page to drill deeper into their performance 🌟

Use the rings to track student performance

In each class, your students’ performance on each section will be shown by the rings - all students should go for green 💍

The rings show the percentage of questions a student has answered correctly at least once:

🔴 Red: Less than 50%

🟡 Amber: 50–79%

🟢 Green: 80%+

Tip: A solid ring means a student has completed all activities in that section, while a dotted ring shows there are still activities left to do⬇️

Check the snapshot bar to track class performance

The snapshot bar gives a quick overview of how your class performed on an assignment. A mostly green bar means the class is on track, while more red means that extra support may be needed. Hover over the bar to get a more detailed breakdown of the colour percentages 🤓

See common mistakes via Insights

Tap on Insights to see a summary of class mistakes in a given section. Hover over the people icon to view which students made mistakes and use the dropdown to see the exact question they struggled with 🖊️

Tip: Press the export button to download your data 📊

How do I monitor an individual student’s progress?

You can drill down into a specific student’s results by hovering over a ring or their initials to identify the student. Then click their ring to view their detailed performance for questions they haven’t corrected and what activities they’ve not completed 📖

Is there anything else you’d like to see? Click on ‘Want more information? Answer a few questions to help us’ to take our survey so we know what to focus on next 🎉

How do I track memory decay?

To help students retain knowledge, they should be aiming to keep their decay below 5%.

💚 Decay less than 5% = green header

➡️ Decay 5-10% = arrow in the header turns grey

⬇️ Decay more than 10% = the arrow will turn red

Students can keep decay below 5% by regularly using Refresh Knowledge:

✅ One correct answer combats decay for that section

👍 The more they revisit content, the slower it decays
