What does โ€˜completeโ€™ mean?

To complete the course, you must achieve and maintain an Up Score of 90% on all of your course modules by the day of the relevant exam.

Up Score measures your knowledge and understanding of the content, your ability to recall information, and your performance in exam questions and exam papers. When you reach a 90% Up Score, we are confident that you are grade 8/9 ready ๐Ÿ’ช

How do I qualify for the money-back guarantee?

The money-back guarantee will apply if:

๐Ÿ’ก You are taking our Higher Tier, GCSE Combined Science course

๐Ÿ“‹ You sit the AQA Combined Science Triology exam in 2027

๐Ÿซ You receive a certificate from your official exam centre (this is school for most students!)

๐Ÿ“š You complete the course to 90% Up Score

โญ You achieve anything less than two 8 grades

The money-back guarantee does not apply to GCSE students sitting their exam in 2026, as the Biology and Physics content is still being added to the platform.

What does โ€˜money backโ€™ mean?

If you complete the course to 90% and do not get at least two 8 grades, we will refund you the full cost that you paid for your course ๐Ÿค

How do the terms vary by exam specification?

Itโ€™s important to note that there are a number of ways to sit GCSE Science. The Up Learn guarantee currently covers Combined Science Trilogy, Higher Tier.

The guarantee does not apply to Foundation tier exams or the Synergy specification.
