When should I start?

Getting started as soon as possible is always the best approach! It gives you time to master the content and makes exam prep much less stressful than last-minute cramming 😎

But no matter when you start, any time spent on the course can help boost your grade. Even just a week of study with Up Learn can improve your knowledge and understanding!

How long will it take to finish the course?

The amount of time it takes to complete the course will vary depending on your starting point and how you choose to study.

Earlier in Year 10, we recommend aiming for around 2–4 hours of revision per week across all three courses.

As you move closer to exam season in Year 11, you should increase this to around 8–10 hours per week in total, spread out over short, manageable study sessions to help with focus and retention πŸ’ͺ

The full GCSE course contains approximately 80 hours of content, but most students complete it more quickly. You can use the Section Quizzes to skip over topics you already understand, allowing you to focus your time on areas that need the most attention 🎯

What if I don’t plan to do the whole course?

Completing the course isn’t the only goal. Even dipping in to refine tricky topics or get an overview from a summary can make a huge difference! Up Learn is one of the most efficient revision tools, so head to your course homepage and make the most of every study session πŸ’ͺ

Just remember, to qualify for our money-back guarantee, you will need to complete the course to a 90% Up Score πŸ’‘
