If your videos won’t play, don’t worry! Follow these steps to troubleshoot:
Step 1: Quick fixes
🔄 Clear your cache and cookies – This can help refresh the page and fix playback issues.
🚫 Disable any ad blockers – Sometimes, they can interfere with video loading.
📶 Check your internet connection – A slow or unstable connection can affect video playback.
🌐 Ensure Chrome is up-to-date
💻 Restart your device - If it’s a problem with your device, this could help remove any blockers.
Step 2: Disable tracking prevention on Microsoft Edge
If you’re using Microsoft Edge, it has a feature called Tracking Prevention that might block parts of our site from loading. Try switching to Google Chrome, but if you can't:
👉 Go to Settings → Privacy, Search, and Services → Tracking Prevention, and set it to Basic (or turn it off for now).
Then refresh the page and try playing the video again.
Step 3: Check your school has Wistia unblocked
Our videos are hosted on Wistia, and they might be blocked by your school’s network. If you’re watching videos at school or on a school device, ask your IT team to white-list these domains:
