A subsection quiz tests your knowledge of a whole topic, with correct answers skipping corresponding lessons. It's a great way to speed up course completion and skip past content you already know, or as an effective revision tool 👨💻
🤷 Why complete a Subsection Quiz?
If you answer a question correctly, the corresponding lesson or quiz will be marked as completed. If you answer all the questions correctly, then the entire subsection will be marked as completed and you can progress to the next part of the course ⏩
When you complete a subsection quiz for the first time it will tick off the relevant videos and quizzes, provided you haven't completed any lessons within the subsection. You can then repeat as many times as you like, as a fantastic revision resource. You can test your knowledge and see if there are any gaps you need to cover 🧙
🔎 Where can I find Subsection Quizzes?
When you click into a topic, a pop-up will appear offering the option to either Start Quiz or View Lessons. Click Start Quiz to begin the subsection quiz for that topic, or move on to the lessons by clicking View Lessons or closing the pop-up.
Biology's more efficient design means you need to complete the detailed video lessons, whilst Economics, Psychology and OCR Physics include pre-video quizzes instead of subsection quizzes - use these to skip the content you know!
🌟 Do Subsection Quizzes count towards Up Score?
Subsection quizzes themselves do not count towards Up Score; they are optional!
However, if you answer questions correctly the first of completion, certain lessons will be skipped, which will increase Up Score 🚀
