Noticed a drop in your Up Score? Donβt worry - it can happen! Your Up Score is designed to reflect your progress and help you improve over time. Hereβs why it might have decreased and what you can do about it πͺ
What caused a drop in my Up Score?
Your Up Score can decrease for a few reasons:
π’ Year 12/13 toggle β If you last viewed your Up Score with the Year 13 toggle/content switched on, if the toggle is now off, or vice versa, your Up Score could drop.
π Memory decay β The system mimics the forgetting curve so once you've completed a section, decay will first kick in after about a week.
β Incorrect quiz answers β If youβre getting questions wrong when redoing quizzes, it means this area still needs mastering.
π― First exam paper attempt β Your very first exam paper practice score is often lower, but thatβs expected! In general, If your average paper score is below your section score, it may bring your overall Up Score down.
π Redoing an exam paper with a lower score β If you reattempt a paper and score lower than before, your Up Score adjusts accordingly.
πNot revisiting past topics β If you donβt review sections you completed a while ago or struggled with, your Up Score can dip.
How can I get my Up Score back up again?
β Turn the Year 13 toggle on/off - Switching the toggle back to how you had it/it's previous setting might bring your Up Score back up
