If your school is connected to us via Wonde, we automatically pull your student and class details directly from your MIS (Management Information System). This allows us to automatically update students’ subjects or classes, create new accounts, and unenrol students who have left.

If your school is migrating from one MIS to another - e.g., from SIMs to Bromcom - there are a few important steps to follow to ensure students don’t temporarily lose access to their courses during the transition.

Step 1: Notify Wonde of the change

Your Data Manager or Up Learn Champion should contact Wonde’s support team to let them know about the migration.

They can do this by emailing [email protected] and including:

🆕 The name of the new MIS your school is migrating to

📅 The effective date of the migration

🏫 Your school's name and URN (or relevant identifier)

Step 2: We receive notification

Once your school has informed Wonde:

📩 We’ll receive a notification about the planned migration and date.

📝 We’ll make a note of the date so we’re ready to re-upload your classes as soon as possible.

Step 3: The MIS migration is complete

Once the migration is done:

🔒 Wonde will re-establish the secure connection with your new MIS

📢 They will notify us that the migration is complete and the data is ready to be re-synced

🔄 We will re-sync all student and teacher accounts with their new classes

Note: Because Wonde treats migrated classes as new, all previous assignment data will no longer be available, and you will need to re-set all assignments. Students will keep their section progress, but this progress will not be linked to any assignment 📝
